However, now many have left the team to pursue better opportunities elsewhere. This mass departure led some to question Coach Prime’s ability to build a strong roster, and some players have also been quite vocal about it.  Recently, the team’s former cornerback Cormani McClain stirred controversy as he said he wants to play for a coach with more to offer.Best porn XXX. Likewise, Buffs’ former safety, Xavier Smith also expressed how Deion has ruined players’ confidence since he became the coach. Now amidst the negativity, a whistleblower has now revealed a different side to the story of the mass exodus.    ADVERTISEMENT Article continues below this ad Ryan Koenigsberg spilled the beans on the DNVR Podcast saying, “Coach Prime came here and he knew he had to win and he knew the roster wasn’t up to power.” He then exposed the head coach’s plan, saying  “He had to tell some guys to go somewhere else because their opportunity wasn’t going to be here.” He also added, “He [Deion Sanders] had to clear out space to bring in better players which he’s done in every single cycle of the portal” ADVERTISEMENT Article continues below this ad So it looks like getting rid of players wasn’t personal for Deion Sanders, but rather just a business. He just wants to win, and that means making tough choices. Now he’s all set to find new replacements for the team. Last season when Coach Prime entered CU Buffs, he said “I’m bringing my luggage with me, and it’s Louis [Vuitton].” When he said that, he meant he was bringing in star players to win games and help build the Colorado brand. That wasn’t empty talk as last year alone, 50 players left the team and he brought in 53 new ones. The massive overhaul helped improve their record from 1 win to a mediocre 4-8 season. However,  talented transfers like wide receiver LaJohntay Wester are already proving their worth, adding spark to the offense led by Shedeur Sanders. The recent spring game showcased their improvement on both offense and defense. While some spaces still need filling, it seems Coach Prime’s gamble of clearing out the roster is paying off with promising new talent.   EssentiallySports is a digital-first sports media house that surfaces the best stories on America’s favorite sports celebrities with a fan’s perspective to 30+ M average monthly readers.
